Manual or automatic grand total reset function (GtrSt)

Figure 6-12:

Grand total alarm time

The T DELAy parameter is used by the NPN open collector outputs when they are
programmed as grand total alarms. If

grand total reset

(GtrSt) is programmed to Auto, the

time delay

(T DELAy) is the length of the associated Out 1 or Out 2 grand total alarm prior

to the grand total being reset to 0.

For information on programming the NPN open collector pulse outputs as grand total
alarms, see

Alarm output (ALrm)

 programming.

Press the Enter button, at any time, to accept a setting; otherwise press the Menu button
to exit without saving changes.

6.10

Set up passwords (PASSWRD)

The

Password

menu is used to program a five-digit password to prevent unauthorized

changes to the programmed parameter settings, to restrict the ability to reset the total
and grand total, and to permanently lockout the ability to reset the grand total and any
grand total related parameters.

The lock symbol is displayed to indicate that settings are password protected. Record all
passwords for future reference. If appropriate, it may be recorded in the space provided.
