One Phillips head screwdriver

One wire stripper

One stepladder

Masking tape

Three wire connectors (supplied)

MATERIALS

Wiring, outlet box and box connectors must be of type
required by the local code. The minimum wire would
be a 3-conductor (2-wire with ground) of the following
sizes:

Unpacking Instructions

For your convenience, check-off boxes are provided next to each step. As each step is
completed, place a check mark in the box. This will insure that all steps have been
completed and will be helpful in finding your place should you be interrupted.

1. Open styrofoam unit containing fan. Remove top

half of styrofoam unit. Remove parts and check to
see that you have received the following parts:

NOTE: If you are uncertain of part description,
refer to exploded view illustration.

a. Fan motor and housing assembly
b. One motor cover
c. Once ceiling cover
d. Ten fan blades
e. Five upper blade flanges
f. Five lower blade flanges
g. Ten struts
h. One hanger ball/downrod assembly
i. One hanger bracket
j. One switch housing cover/light fixture assembly
k. One cover plate
l. One light fixture glass
m.One finial nut
n. One loose parts bag containing:

1. One 5/16-18 x 1/4” setscrew
2. One setscrew wrench
3. One 2-1/4” pipe nipple
4. Two 1” threaded studs
5. Two 1-1/4” threaded studs
6. Four knurled knobs
7. Four lockwashers

8. Three wire connectors
9. Two pull chain pendants

10. Two plastic couplings
11. One hairpin clip
12. One clevis pin
13. Eleven 10-32 x 1” oval head screws
14. Thirty-two 10-32 x 8mm 

Phillips button head screws

15. Forty-two 6-32 x 6mm

Phillips button head screws

16. One fiber washer
17. Two 8-32 x 3/8” pan head screws

NOTE: Place the parts from the loose parts bags in a
small container to keep them from being lost. If any
parts are missing, contact your local retailer or
catalog outlet for replacement before proceeding.

Before assembling your ceiling fan, refer to section on
proper method of wiring your fan (page 8). If you feel
you do not have enough wiring knowledge or experi-
ence, have your fan installed by a licensed electrician.
