10. Installation of Ceiling Fan Blades

10.3

Rotate the motor hub to expose the motor flange holes
through the switch cup plate.

Attach a blade/flange assembly to the motor hub using
two 1/4-20 x 1/2” oval head screws (supplied)
(Figure 22). Do not tighten completely at this time.

Install remaining blade assemblies in the same way.
Gently snug all flange screws to the motor hub, working
around the hub in a clockwise sequence.

NOTE: Take care not to scratch fan housing
assembly when installing blades.

Mount the blade flanges to the fan blades using three
#8-32 x 8mm washer head blade screws (supplied) per
blade (Figure 21).

Repeat this procedure for remaining four fan blades and
blade flanges.

Remove and discard the five motor hub spacers to free the
motor for installation of ceiling fan blades (Figure 20).

To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the
blade flanges when installing the flanges, balancing
the blades, or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign
objects between rotating fan blades.
