ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER
Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the box) must be fitted to
the unit. These are to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4
self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly
in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.
OPERATION OF THE HEATER
Note: When the heater is turned on for the first time, or when it is turned on after a longer period of storage, it
is normal that the heater may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a
short while.
Set the thermostat knob to the minimal position and heat select switch to position “0”.
Insert the plug to the power supply.
Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction to the max position.
Rotate the heat select switch to choose the suitable setting. The appliance will start heating.
Once the room temperature has reached the desired value, turn the thermostat knob slowly in
anti-clockwise direction until you hear a "click" sound; this is the setting temperature.
The appliance will automatically maintain the setting temperature. It will switch on when the room
temperature is below the setting, and switch off if it is above the setting.
SAFETY SYSTEM
The appliance has a safety system which automatically switches off the unit when overheated, for example,
due to the total or partial obstruction of the vents. In this case, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from
the socket. Let it cool down for about 30 minutes and remove the object which is obstructing the vents. Then
put the plug in the socket and switch on the heater. It should now operate normally.
CLEANING THE HEATER
1. Always unplug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and with a dry cloth.
3. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to penetrate the heater.
