deteriorated parts or any elements which

environment. This waste must not be
disposed of as normal waste, it must be
separated and taken to specified waste
disposal centres where the material will
be recycled.
Demolition and disposal
When the machine reaches the end of its
service life, do not dispose of it into the
environment; instead take it to a waste
disposal centre.
Most materials used in the manufacture of
the machine are recyclable; all metals
(steel, aluminium, brass) can be delivered
t o a n o r m a l re c yc l i n g s t a t i o n . Fo r
information contact your local waste
recycling service. Waste disposal must be
c a r r i e d o u t w i t h r e s p e c t f o r t h e
environment, avoiding soil, air and water
pollution.
In all cases, applicable local legislation
must be complied with.
9. ACCESSORIES
Towing hitch
Required for towing accessories. To use the
towing hitch it is necessary to remove the
grass-catcher.
WARNING
- Fix the towing hitch securely to
prevent the bolts from loosening
during towing.

accessories hitched to the machine.

(Fig. 26): useful for transpor ting
various types of material.
Safety rules
Remember that the trailer can cause
injuries if used improperly or if the user
fails to understand how to make them
work correctly. Pay attention at all times
when using such accessories.
1. Read this manual and the manual
supplied with the trailer, before
assembly and use.
2. Read the manual of the machine to
which the towed accessories will be
hitched, so that you fully understand
how it works before using it.
3. It is strictly prohibited to transport
p e o p l e o r a n i m a l s o n t o w e d
accessories. They are not designed to
carry passengers.
4. Do not allow children to operate the
machine or its towed accessories.
5. Do not allow adults to operate the
machine or towed accessories without
adequate instructions.
6. When the machine is equipped with
towed accessories, always start slowly
and gradually increase the speed,
adapting it to the conditions of use.
7. Tow accessories slowly on uneven or
hilly ground and near to streams and
d i t c h e s , i n o r d e r t o p r e v e n t
overturning and loss of control. Do not
drive near to streams and ditches.
8. Towed accessories may cause stability
problems when slowing down and
stopping the vehicle that is towing
them. If the vehicle is stopped too
suddenly, there is a risk of it being
struck by the load or the accessory
itself. Do not fill the towed accessory to
its maximum weight capacity (trailer
50 kg) without checking whether the
towing vehicle and conditions of use
permit towing and stopping in total
safety.
9. Before towing accessories on a slope,
read the instructions for using the
machine on sloping ground given on
page 46 of this manual. Do not use
towed accessories on ver y steep
slopes.
10. Do not tow accessories on, or even
across, public roadways.
