- Load the machine with the engine
switched off, without a driver and
pushed by an adequate number of
people.
- The machine must be transported in a
horizontal position, with the tank empty,
the fuel stop-cock closed, the cutting
deck lowered and the parking brake
engaged, also ensuring compliance with
applicable transport regulations for such
machines.
- Strap the machine to the vehicle or
trailer using approved tension straps,
ensuring that it is correctly and securely
fastened, with four chocks on the rear
wheels.
WARNING: The parking brake alone
does not guarantee the stability of
the machine during transport.
- During transport, no-one must remain
seated on the machine.
- Before transporting the machine on
public roads, refer to and adhere to
applicable local highway regulations.
7. MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out maintenance, also
carefully read the engine manual.
7.1 Safety Recommendations
WARNING
During all maintenance work:
- Switch off the engine and remove the
ignition key.
- Remove the spark plug connector.
- Pro t e c t i ve d ev i ce s re m ove d fo r
maintenance must be reinstalled
afterwards.
- DANGER OF BURNS: Do not work on
the lawn tractor until it has cooled
down. The engine, transmission and
silencer get very hot!
- DANGER OF LACERATIONS: When
working on the cutters, pay attention
to the sharp blades. In mowers with
more than one blade, moving one
cutter can cause the other to move as
well.
- Parts are only allowed to be renewed
by genuine spare parts.
- If in doubt, always visit a specialist
w o r k s h o p o r c o n t a c t t h e
manufacturer.
- The hydraulic fluid may cause serious
injury in the event of leakage under
p r e s s u r e ; i f t h i s h a p p e n s s e e k
immediate medical assistance. Never
carry out maintenance or repairs on
the hydraulic circuit; such operations
should be performed by specialist and
suitably equipped personnel.
- Make sure that the cutter assembly stops
when the blade stop button is set to
STOP (0).
- Never modify the machine in any way.
- Replace safety devices as soon as they
become damaged or broken. Replace
worn blades.
- Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tightened
to guarantee safe operating conditions.
7.2 Access To Mechanical Parts
Lift the bonnet to access the engine and
mechanical parts below it.
To do so, proceed as follows put the
machine on level ground.
7.3 Routine Maintenance
