15. Stone-guard or deflector (optional):
this can be fitted in
place of the grass-catcher and prevents objects drawn up
by the blades from being thrown outside of the machine.
16. Engine:
this moves the blades and drives the wheels. Its
specifications and regulations for use are described in a
specific manual.
17. Battery:
provides the energy for starting the engine. Its
specifications and regulations for use are described in a
specific manual.
18. Driving seat:
this is where the machine operator sits. It has
a sensor connected to safety devices for detecting the pres-
ence of the operator.
19. Regulation and safety labels:
give reminders on the main
regaulations for working safely, each of which is explained
in chapter 1.
20. Inspection hatch:
for access to the battery; it is fixed by a
screw and should always be closed while the machine is in
use.
