5.5 – Status LEDs
There are three LEDs on the rear of the ESP-8 to give information to the user, with the
following functions:
5.5.1 - Clip/Temp LED
Lit Yellow High system temperature – the unit will activate the soft clip limiter to
reduce output level
Lit Red Output signal clipping
5.5.2 – Signal LED
Lit Green Signal present
Lit Yellow Input signal engaging one of the output limiters
Lit Red Input signal too high – under 4dB margin from input stage clipping
5.5.3 – Status LED
Lit Green System Active
Lit Cyan Auto Standby Mode enabled
Lit Blue System in Auto Standby – no signal detected in the last 15 minutes
