The apparatus has 2 fine sieves for preventing ion exchanger resin
from leaking into the heating system.
Check the fine sieve in the outlet and on the immersion hose regu-
larly.

There probably is not a malfunction, instead the untreated water
contains dissolved solids (sulfate, nitrate, chloride) in addition to
lime, which are removed and thus reduces the capacity.
