MAINTENANCE
CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Disconnect the power base from the electrical outlet.
• Ensure the appliance has completely cooled down.
• Disassemble the parts as described in the section ”After use”.
• The percolator cover, basket, basket lid and pump tube assembly can all be
placed in the upper rack of a dishwasher or washed in warm soapy water
and rinsed thoroughly.
• To clean the main body and power base, simply wipe with a clean, damp cloth
and dry carefully before storing.
Important:
Never wash the percolator’s main body or power base and power
cord in a dishwasher. Never immerse them in water or other liquids. This will
damage the appliance.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry area with the cover off.
Important:
Do not use scouring agents or harsh cleaners
on any part of the percolator.
Important:
The washer at the bottom of the pump tube
must move freely. Should ground coffee become trap-
ped near the washer, loosen it with a toothpick and
then run under tap water to clean.
OPERATION
Once brewing is completed, remove the percolator from the power base and pour
the coffee.
Caution:
Do not touch the stainless steel parts of the percolator, as they will be hot.
Use handle and knob.
Warning:
Be certain that the percolating process has stopped completely before
pouring or removing the cover.
