3.3 When not in use
Power failure: In the event of a power cut, food can be preserved for a couple of hours,
even in summer. It is recommended that the door is opened as infrequently as possible and
no more fresh food is placed in the refrigerator.
Long-term non-use: Unplug the refrigerator and clean it if it will be left unused for a long
time. Keep
the door open to avoid bad odours from developing.
Moving: Do not turn the refrigerator upside down or subject it to vibration. Do not tilt the re-
frigerator by more than 45º Do not lift the refrigerator by the door or hinge when moving it.
It is recommended that the refrigerator is left to run continuously after it is started. Try to
avoid turning the refrigerator on and off during normal use, as this can affect the refrigera-
tor’s service life.
The following simple issues can be handled by the user. Please call
the after-sales service department if issues are not rectified.
4. Troubleshooting
Appliance not
working
Check whether the refrigerator is plugged in and
connected to power. The supply voltage may be too
low.
Is the temperature control knob set correctly? Power
failure or tripped circuit.
Odour
Food with a strong odour should be tightly wrapped.
Food may have spoiled.
Interior of refrigerator may need cleaning.
Prolonged opera-
tion of compressor
Prolonged operation of the compressor is normal in
summer when the ambient temperature is higher.
Do not put too much food in the refrigerator at one
time.
Do not put food in the refrigerator until it has cooled
down.
Frequent opening of refrigerator door.
Thick frost layer (defrosting is needed).
The refrigerator

The refrigerator is tilted.
