4. FAZ 3000-FB, commissioning
The security code of the remote control consists of a nine-figure key
sequence that is entered via the three keys. This gives 3

= 19683
different codes.
Note: Determine the code you wish to enter in advance, noting the
key sequence and only then enter the code. This is useful if you change
the batteries or wish to equip an additional remote control with the
same code.
· Open the battery compartment cover at the back by pushing the
cover in the direction of the arrow.
· Place the two LR 44 button cells with the correct polarity, i. e. plus
to the top in the battery holder and close the battery compart-
ment cover.
· The LED flashes for about 20 seconds, which indicates input read-
iness for the code. If the code is not entered within 20 seconds the
LED extinguishes. Pressing any button activates the input mode
for a further 20 seconds.
· When the code is entered the LED extinguishes and the remote
control is operational.
