Factory presets
The display standards listed in the table have been stored so that the user can set up the
monitor with a minimum of effort. If the monitor identifies one of these standards, the
position and size of the display image will be adjusted accordingly. These presets can
be overwritten using the controls. In addition to the factory preset timings, up to 15
additional timings can be stored. To be recognized as a timing, the new video signal must
vary by at least 1 kHz in the horizontal frequency, at least 1 Hz in the vertical frequency,
or in the polarity of the synchronization signal from any of the previously stored timings.

Apple-Macintosh computer
As a rule, ELSA monitors can also be connected to Macintosh computers. The Macintosh
uses a 15-pin socket for its graphics output. A suitable adapter is necessary to connect
it to the VGA socket of the monitor. Please contact your dealer if you have any questions
in this regard.
