Weighing/measuring liquid goods
The kitchen scale can display the weight of water and milk as a quantity in milliliters

or liquid
ounces
fl:oz
.
1.
Place the scale on a sturdy, level surface.
2.
Switch the scale on by pressing the
ON/OFF/TARE
button. After several seconds,
0
is
displayed. The scale is calibrated and you can start to weigh.
3.
Place a container on the weighing surface.
4.
Press the
ON/OFF/TARE
button again.
0 is displayed.
5.
Press the
MODE
button repeatedly until a small bar is displayed above milk/ water. The
measurement result can be displayed in
ml
or in
fl:oz
.
The scale is ready.
6.
Carefully fill the liquid into the container, which is standing on the weighing surface.
The calculated quantity is displayed.
Adding weighing goods
This function is e.g. practical for baking, if you would like to add another ingredient to an
ingredient that is already on the scale.
1.
Press the
ON/OFF/TARE
button in order to reset the scale to 0. Using the
MODE
button, if
applicable, select the appropriate setting (Weight, Milk, or Water and the required unit of
measurement)
2.
Add the new weighing goods. In the display, the weight/quantity of the added weighing goods is
shown.
3.
Repeat the procedure, if you intend to add more ingredients for weighing.
Switching off scale
Keep the
ON/OFF/TARE
button pressed until the display extinguishes.
If the scale is not used for approx. 60 seconds, it will switch off automatically.
Overload display
If “
O-Ld
” is shown in the display, the load capacity of 5000 g has been exceeded. Please remove
the weighing goods from the scale.
Cleaning and Storage
1.
Clean the scale with a soft slightly damp cloth and if necessary, some detergent. Never use hot
water or other harsh chemicals to clean the scale.
2.
Ensure that there is nothing on the weighing plate when the scale is not being used.
3.
The scale should not be stored standing on its side.
4.
Never attempt to open the scale and tamper with its mechanism or circuitry.
5.
Remove the battery if the scale is not going to be used for a long time.
