Warranty
1. On the basis of the terms explained below, ELMEG GmbH &
Co.KG shall honor a warranty period of 24 months, starting from
the date of purchase at the dealership, with the original receipt
or other, similar documents, for this device.
2. Any warranty claims shall be made against the specialized
dealer at which the device was purchased.
3. The warranty includes rectification of any damage or deficien-
cies during the warranty period due to demonstrable material or
production faults. Not included under the warranty is damage or
deficiencies resulting from improper connection or handling,
from non-observance of the programming instructions and in-
structions for use or from force majeure. It is up to the discretion
of the manufacturer to replace the device with an identical one,
instead of repairing the deficient one. Further claims for dama-
ges are excluded.
4. The warranty does not include deficiencies which have a neg-
ligible effect on the value or usability of the device. Further costs,
such as for installation or travel and transport expenses, are ex-
pressly excluded.
5. This manufacturer warranty shall be nullified if changes are
made to the product, or if the product is used in a country for
which it was not designed or produced.
6. The warranty assumes that the device is packed with the war-
ranty receipt for shipping (in the original packaging where at all
possible) in such a manner so as to protect against damage and
impacts. The customer shall bear the responsibility and costs
for shipping.
7. In the event that an examination determines that the warranty
is void, or that the product is not deficient, the customer shall
bear the costs for the repair work/tests.
8. Warranty service provided neither extends the existing war-
ranty period, nor does it mark the beginning of a new warranty
period. The warranty period for spare parts that are installed is
terminated on expiration of the warranty period for the device.
