Make sure that all the test leads are disconnected
from the meter terminals for current measurement.
As the clamp has internal filter it could happen that
the meter takes few seconds to reach 0 value on
the display. This is not a defect, indeed the user
can proceed with a test as the temporary displayed
value will not be added to the measured value.
Put the conductor (only one wire) to be tested inside to the “open”
clamp jaw, then the current value is shown at display.

OL
” message are displayed when the current under test
is over the maximum value that the instrument is able to
measure

WARNING
The VoltSense LED indicates the electric field. If
the VoltSense LED is not on, voltage could still be
present.

Move the meter strictly near or in contact with the desired
point of measure. The red LED is always on and the buzzer
always sound if AC voltage is detected.
