Resistance/Continuity and Diode test
Insert the red test lead in V-

Jack and the black test lead in COM Jack.
Connect the test lead to the object and read the value in the display.

” is shown in the Display if the resistance is, more than 10K Ω

in buzzer sounds when measured resistance is less than 25Ω and sounds off when measured
resistance is more than 400Ω, between 25Ω to 400Ω the buzzer maybe sound or off either.
Diode test
Insert the red test lead plug into V-

jack and the black test lead plug
into COM jack and perform continuity test on the object on test
.Buzzer emits sound if the measured resistance value is less about

Pushing HOLD
key to select Diode test. “ ” symbol is shown at
display.
Connect the red test leads to the anode of diode on test and the black
test lead on the cathode ones. The correspondent threshold voltage of
P-N junction is showed on display.
Reverse position of test leads to reading inverse polarization voltage
WARNING
Before taking any in circuit resistance or diode test, remove power from the circuit to
be tested and discharge all the capacitors.
