Audio & Visual Status Indication
In order to easily recognize various statuses, the Bell box uses the following methods to indicate
while you are in Arm and Disarm modes.
Note:
For the ones with * mark, this means the Siren Audio indication will be affected by the Confirmation
ON / OFF. When setting Confirmation to OFF, the confirmation sound will not be available.

GETTING STARTED
To insert the batteries:
Step 1.
Release the screws at the bottom of Bell box and lift the outer case carefully.
Step 2.
The battery compartment is a large box in the Bell box with a lid secured with 4 screws.
Step 3.
Remove the four screws and take off the compartment lid.
Step 4.
The batteries have been inserted by factory already, just slide Power Switch to ON position.
Step 5.
The Bell box will beep and flash when the last battery is inserted.
Step 6.
Replace the battery compartment lid with the four screws and not to over tighten.
PROGRAMMING BELL BOX
Note: Remember to learn in at least one other device into control panel before Bell box can be added
Step 1.
Slide SW1 to ON position. The siren will beep and flash. The siren is now in learning mode.
Step 2. Program the Control Unit by selecting “
/- menu
”, then “
Program Siren
” menu, and
then “
Learn Siren
”.
Step 3.
For non-NXP Control units:
Press “
OK
”, and the Control unit will emit a long beep to confirm, followed by the siren’s
response of a beep and a flash.
For NXP Control units:
a)
Press “
OK
”, and the Control unit will ask if it is for “
Single area
” or “
Whole system
”.
o
Single area
means that HP200 raises an alarm only when the sensor, which is
learnt in this area, is triggered.
o
Whole system
means that HP200 raises an alarm when any sensor, which is learnt
in either Area 1 or Area 2, is triggered.
b)
Select either
Single area
or
Whole System
and press OK key; the screen displays “
Pls
wait RF transmitting
” and a learning code is transmitted.
c)
Bell Box should respond by activating its siren & strobe light momentarily.
Step 4.
Slide SW1 to OFF position. The siren will beep and flash to confirm that the siren is now in
normal operation mode.
Step 5.
For non-NXP Control units
: Disable the tamper switch by selecting “
Program Siren
” menu
on the control unit, then “
Siren Tamp OFF
” and press “
OK
”.
For NXP Control units:
After exiting the auxiliary devices out of Learn mode, the learning
process is then complete.
Step 6. Select “
Confirm ON
” or “
Confirm OFF
” under the “
Program Siren
” menu on the control unit,
and press “
OK
”. The siren will beep to confirm.
Step 7.
Set SW 3 & 4 for your desired alarm period.
Step 8.
Select “
Entry Snd ON
” or “
Entry Snd OFF
” and press
OK
.
Note:
Once the tamper protection is disabled, the siren will automatically revert to
ON
after about an hour. That
is, if it has not yet been switched back on again manually by selecting “
Siren Tamp ON
”.
