1.0 General characteristics

This manual contains instructions for installing and using Elkron communicators models CT10-

M and CT11-M. Most characteristics are in common to both models. The instructions refer to

both models unless otherwise specified.

CT10-M: works on GSM cellular telephone networks via a GSM module only

CT11-M: works on GSM cellular telephone networks and

traditional PSTN telephone networks

You can receive alarms, make checks, send commands and have

immediate voice feedback anywhere you are on any type of tel-

ephone (traditional or cellular). If you are using a cellular telephone,

you can also receive clear information in text messages.

For maximum flexibility, the association between events and desti-

nation telephone numbers can be freely programmed. The telephone

network to be used for each number (GSM and/or PSTN - CT11-M

model only) can be selected.

A network availability check function is provided. The system will

automatically switch to the other network (CT11-M only) in the case

of tampering or anomalies. Furthermore, useful information, such

as approaching SIM card expiration, technical failures (e.g. black-
outs) and telephone failures (e.g. network failures), can be sent.
