Service: Inspection/Cleaning
This machine has been disinfected prior to departing from the factory. The dispenser needs to be cleaned prior to installing a full bottle of water.
WARNING
•
To avoid any accidents, cut off the power supply before operation, as instructed below.
•
The dispenser heats water to a temperature of approximately 85°C. It can cause severe burns. Disconnect electrical power prior to any maintence
operation.
1. Cleaning and draining Instructions:
a)
Before cleaning, make sure the power switch is in the O (off) positon and unplug the water dispenser.
b)
Twist out the two screws
j
, and then take down the top cover, cold tank cover and the separator
k
.
c)
Fill the cold tank with 0.6 gallons of pure water to clean it.
d)
Place a large water bucket beneath the drain outlet, which is on the back of water dispenser. Then remove the drain cover and drain the
water
l
.
e)
Reposition the drain cover, separator, cold tank cover and top cover after draining. After you ensure the pipe and wires are properly connected,
you can then use the machine normally.
Note: Cleaning must be performed under the guidance of professional staff.
2. Sanitizing:
The machine should be disinfected with the disinfectant separately purchased from a drugstore or grocery store in accordance with the
instruction manual of the disinfectant and then cleaned with water (see “Cleaning and draining instructions:”). Generally, this should be done every
three months.
3. To remove mineral deposits:
Mix 4 liters of water with 200g citric acid crystals. Inject into the machine and make sure the water can flow out of the
hot water tap. Switch on the power and heat it for about 10 minutes. 30 minutes later, drain off the liquid and clean it with water two or three times.
Generally, this should be done every six months. To avoid danger from damaging the machine, never disassemble the machine by yourself.
4.
Keep this machine in a dry and cool place and avoid direct sunshine. The back of the machine should be at least 10 inches away from the wall. Never
put the machine on paper or foam, which may store water and then cause creepage. Never put anything flammable next to the machine. Do not use
the machine outdoors or in a place that can be splashed by water.
5.
For the water purifier, the installation and replacement of filters must be carried out by qualified personnel.
6.
In case of the machine not being use for a long time, turn off the heating switch of the refrigeration switch to save power.
7. In case the machine is not needed for a long time, please remove the plug, turn off the copper chrome plated ball valve and drain off the remaining water
through the outlet. For another use, discharge water for 3-5 min. In the event that the machine is blocked by ice due to environmental conditions below
freezing point, keep the refrigeration switch closed for 4 hours and them turn it on to continue the operation. If you will not use the water dispenser for
a long time, please disconnect it from the water source (close the inlet valve). If the filtration system has not been used in a long time (more than 14
days), especially in the summer, the filters will need to be replaced. Otherwise, this may become a breeding ground for bacteria.
8. In case the water supply is cut off, please close the feed water ball valve and cut off the power. After water re-supply, please open the other faucets to
discharge sediment and them turn on the feed water ball valve.
9.
The machine must use an earthed three-pin socket and a reliable creepage protection switch.
10.
Never use organic solvents such as gasoline to clean the machine; we strictly prohibit washing the machine with water or splashing water on the machine.
11.
Never turn on/off the machine by inserting the plug into (or pulling the plug out from) the socket. To avoid fire, never increase the length of the supply cord.
12.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified person so as to avoid a hazard.
13.
Never dismantle spare parts of the machine to avoid water leakage or damage.
14.
Never turn the machine upside down or lean it more than 45° when moving it so as to avoid any damage to it or any accident.
