“V/S” green caption illuminates
Since the glide-slope can be captured with any vertical mode previously selected, the aircraft is
typically fl yikng ALT mode ON. It is recommended to capture glide-slope from below the beam. It
is the pilot’s responsibility to follow a fl ight path which makes the intercept possible.
The G/S amber ARM caption indicates that the function is enabled but not active.
