Spreadlights

Domo spreadlight

Elipta

12 volt copper spreadlights are available in three styles

to provide a soft pool of light for the illumination of paths or steps
and around the patio, drive and lawn. The standard
stem/lampholder assembly is available with a choice of small or
large tapered shade or domed shade. Natural coppe r typically
weathers to a natural, mottled brown finish and may acquire a
verdigris patina eventually. Brushed chrome finish is a popular
choice for modern garden settings

These 12v spreadlights hide the light source under the shade
for low glare lighting. A 20w halogen capsule lamp is the usual
lamp choice: a 35w lamp may be fitted for brighter lighting or a
replaceable l.e.d. (light emitting diode) lamp may be used as a
low-energy alternative. A frosted glass dome protects the lamp
from irrigation spray, diffuses the light from the lamp and
reduces lamp glare to improve visual comfort in sloping sites.
The shade is painted white underneath to maximise light
spread. The shade and dome assembly is easily removed and
replaced with a screw action, so tools are not required for
changing the lamp.

Elipta

spreadlights are supplied as

standard with a black polycarbonate ground spike, which can
be changed to the optional brass ground spike or deck mount if
preferred.
