Tolerance window
It is possible to enter a value in this register that represents an acceptable tolerance. When the
actual position is within the tolerance the actual position displayed is aligned with the demand
position.
The entered range of tolerance is always active in the + and – range around the demand value. The
real actual value is saved in the processor, i.e. no positioning errors through adding up occur.
Example:
Entered value = 0.2 (tol/ 0.2 mm)

ADVERT!
The tolerance window should be set to zero before starting to operate.
Spindle Compensation
In order to adjust spindle tolerances the demand position must be approached always from the
same direction that means that in one direction the demand position will be overrun by the entered
value. After expiration of the backlash dwell time that was entered (menu/times/backlash dwell time)
the demand position will be reached again.
Window forced tolerance
A loop is driven if the value is within the + and – range around the value oft he “window forced
loop” using absolute positioning.
Reference value
A reference value and a reference position can be entered respectively. By using the external
reference input the reference value is used as the demand value.
Retract
The retract distance can be entered in mm in this parameter.
