Starting and Stopping the Bravo™ System

Introduction

The Bravo™ System has an AUTO Start feature that starts the components in a

controlled manner. Alternately, the components may be started individually in

Manual Mode. When in Auto Mode, the Bravo™ also has an AUTO Stop feature

that shuts down the machine in a predetermined sequence.

AUTO Mode

In the Process Screen (either Graphic or Tabular) ensure that "AUTO" is chosen in

the Machine Mode field. Press the Start button to initiate a controlled Power Up

of the machine components. Alternately, press Function Key F2.
The machine is in AUTO Mode if the label near “Machine Mode” displays

“Automatic”. Additionally a button displays “Go to Manual” near the same label.
To AUTO Start the Bravo™ System, click on the Start button associated with

Machine Mode, or press Function Key F2.
To AUTO Stop the Bravo™ System, click on the Stop button or press Function

Key F3.
Note that the Machine Mode parameter is saved to each recipe. If a new recipe is

loaded that does not have AUTO Mode configured, the machine converts to

Manual Mode until it is changed in one of the Process Screens or until the Recipe

is changed and re–loaded.

Manual Mode

To operate the Bravo™ System in Manual Mode, ensure that “Manual” is chosen

in the Machine Mode field. Press the On/Off button of each component to start

the machine components. The Blowers turn On automatically if a Heater is

started.
The machine is in Manual Mode if the label near “Machine Mode” displays

“Manual”. Additionally a button displays “Go to Auto” near the same label.
To Stop the Bravo when it is in Manual Mode, each component is turned off

individually.

ATTENTION

Note that regardless of Machine Mode, the Blowers operate until the internal

temperature of the heated chamber falls below a user-defined parameter, defined

in Configure > Misc Params. The default is 95 C (203 F).
