into the middle of the strip holder. The black
side of strip must face up and it must be
inserted all the way into the holder so that
the manufacturer’s logo is visible at the
entrance of the strip holder.
If the strip has been inserted correctly, the
display changes: a code number appears on
the display until a blood droplet is applied to
the strip. After that, a flashing blood drop
icon will appear on the display, indicating
that the meter is waiting for the blood
sample.
Note:
The insertion of a test strip will switch on the
AutoSense
automatically

Prick your finger and gently squeeze out a small droplet of blood (0.5
μ
l
is sufficient). Apply the blood droplet laterally to the tip of the arrowhead-
shaped end of the test strip. The blood should fill up the reagent zone
