Opening the door after the programme
has started
First set the machine to Pause by pressing
the button

• If the display says that the appliance is in
pause, the door can be opened
• If the display says alternately that the ap-
pliance is in pause and the door is
locked, this means that the machine is al-
ready heating, that the water level is
above the bottom edge of the door or
that the drum is turning: in this case the
door can not be opened
• If you cannot open the door but you need
to open it you have to switch the ma-
chine off by turning the selector dial to
. After about some minutes the door
can be opened
(pay attention to the wa-
ter level and temperature!)

After closing the door, it is necessary to se-
lect the previous programme again and to
press the button

sume the programme from the point where
it had been interrupted.
At the end of the programme
The machine stops automatically. The pilot

goes off, a static
appears on the display and the acoustic sig-
nal sounds for some minutes.
If the RINSE HOLD or NIGHT CYCLE op-
tion has been selected, the pilot light of the

goes off, the display says that the
door is locked and the RINSE HOLD option
has been selected, the door is blocked to in-
dicate that the water must be emptied out.

gramme and confirm it by pressing but-

• reduce the spin speed if needed, by
means of the relevant button,

• when the programme has finished the dis-

The door can be opened.
Turn the programme selector dial to

OFF to switch the machine off. Remove the
laundry from the drum and carefully check
that the drum is empty.
If you do not intend to carry out another
wash, close the water tap. Leave the door
open to prevent the formation of mildew
and unpleasant smells.
Stand by
: once the programme has finish-
ed after a few minutes the energy saving sys-
tem will be enabled. The brightness of the
