10. If the product is connected at a different voltage to that intended.
11. The product has been mistreated, used in a careless way or has been
altered, modified or repaired by persons or entities not accredited by Elec-
trolux do Brasil S/A.
12. The defect is caused by an accident or misuse of the product by the
Consumer.
The warranty granted by the Manufacturer will not cover:
13. Product installation costs.
14. Products or parts damaged by transport or handling accidents, risks,
kneading or acts and effects of nature.
15. Non functioning or failures due to power supply problems and/or lack
of water in the site where the product is installed.
16. Expenses with transportation, parts, materials and labor to prepare
the site where the product will be installed (e.g., electrical and hydraulic
connections, power outlets, sewage, masonry, grounding).
17. Calls related solely to the instructions for use contained in the Instruc-
tion Manual or on the product itself will be liable to charges.
Other provisions:
18. The Authorized Service’s travel costs, for products installed outside the
municipality of its headquarters, shall meet the following criteria:
a) for situations existing in the first 90 (ninety) days following the date
of issue of the consumer sales invoice, the costs will be borne by the
manufacturer;
b) for situations existing after the 91st (ninety-first) day following the date
of issue of the sales invoice to the Consumer, costs shall be borne solely
and exclusively by the Consumer.
19. The costs arising and consequential to the installation of parts that do
not belong to the product are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the
Consumer.
20. Electrolux declares that there is no other natural and/or legal person
empowered to make exceptions or commitments on its behalf regarding
this guarantee certificate.
21. This GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE is valid only for products sold and
used in the Brazilian territory, and any doubts about its provisions should
be clarified by the Instruction Manual, by the manufacturer’s website or the
Electrolux Customer Service.
22. For your convenience, preserve the INSTRUCTION MANUAL, GUAR-
ANTEE CERTIFICATE and APPLIANCE’S INVOICE. When necessary,
consult our National Authorized Service Network and/or Customer Ser-
vice.
