• Use a dripping pan for very fatty food to
prevent the oven from stains that can
be permanent.
• Leave the meat for approximately 15
minutes before carving so that the juice
does not seep out.
• To prevent too much smoke in the oven
during roasting, add some water into
the dripping pan. To prevent smoke
condensation, add water each time af-
ter it dries up.

Cooking times
Cooking times depend on the type of
food, its consistency, and volume.
Initially, monitor the performance when
you cook. Find the best settings (heat set-
ting, cooking time, etc.) for your cook-
ware, recipes and quantities when you
use this appliance.
11.10
Slow Cook
Use this function to prepare lean, tender
pieces of meat and fish with a core tem-
peratures no more than 65 °C. Slow Cook
is not applicable to such recipes as pot
roast or fatty roast pork. You can use the
Food Probe to guarantee that the meat
has the correct core temperature (see ta-
ble for the Food Probe).
In the first 10 minutes you can set the ap-
pliance temperature between 80 °C and
150 °C. The default is 90 °C. After the
temperature is set, the appliance contin-
ues to cook at 80 °C. Do not use the au-
tomatic slow cook function for poultry.
When you use this function, al-
ways cook dishes without a cover.
1.
Sear the meat in a pan on the hob on
a very high setting for 1 - 2 minutes
on each side.
2.
Put the meat together with the hot
roasting pan into the oven on the wire
shelf.
3.
Put the Food Probe into the meat.
4.
Select the Slow Cook function and
set the correct end core temperature.
