Timer advances in
Timed Dry but not in
Auto Dry.
Disconnect the electrical plug from
the electronic moisture sensor
control and measure the resis-
tance between the two red wires in
the plug.
Shorted wire in harness
going to sensor bar or
something between
sensor bars.
Electric and Gas dryers with electronic moisture sensor control; timer advances in
Timed dry but not in Auto dry.
Note: Always check wiring to the components.

across the sensor bars and
measure the resistance between
the two red wires in the plug.
