11.15.2 By Re m ote Control Settings:
a. STEP 1: TURNING ON THE POWER.
Turn ON the po w er, m a k e sure that the unit is in operation.
b. STEP 2 : EN A BLE SELF-TEST MODE
1) Use the re m ote control to send the f irst settings to display / indoor unit HE A T
m ode, HIGH IF A N, set te m perature to 1 6 ºC , no I-FEEL Sleep or any other
ti m er settings are needed.
2) Cover the IR trans m itter co m ponents in the re m ote control so that it w ill not
trans m it the signals to the indoor unit display.
3) Use the re m ote control to send the second settings to display / indoor unit
COOL m ode, LOW IF A N, no I-FEEL Sleep or any other ti m er settings.
4) Uncover the re m ote control IR trans m itter and change the te m perature
settings. I f the display/indoor unit receive the settings properly the f ollo w ing
steps w ill start:
c. STEP 3: MODEL SETTING CONFIRM A TION
1) The ST A ND-B Y and COOL LEDS w ill indicate the operation m ode as f ollo w s:

2) Testing the Model con f iguration. Selected by the COMP, ST A ND-B Y , TIMER
LEDS and FILTER w ill indicate the m odel con f iguration as f ollo w s (the
relevant line f or this m anual is highlighted):
