The controller (2) is used to switch the cooker ON and choose one of the fuctions (FONDUE, WARM, BRAISE, BOIL,
STEAM, ROAST, GRILL, DEEP FRY). After choosing one of the above functions, the control light (1) comes on,
indicating that the cooker is heating up. The control light (1) goes off when the desired temperature is reached.
During operation, the control light (1) may come on and go off. It means that the thermostat is maintaining the
desired temperature.
When done, set the temperature controller to “OFF” position and unplug the cooker from the mains..
WARMING
• put the food in the pot (4)
• place the cover (5)
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “WARM” position
FONDUE
• put the food in the pot (4)
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “FONDUE” position
• use the forks (10) to dip the food into the sauce
BRAISING
• put the food in the pot (4)
• place the cover (5)
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “BRAISE” position
BOILING
• put the food in the pot (4) and pour water inDo not exceed the “MAX” level indicated
on the internal wall of the pot (4)
• place the cover (5)
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “BOIL” position
STEAM COOKING
•fill the pot (4) with waterDo not exceed the “MAX” level indicated on the internal wall of the pot (4)
• place the grate (8) on the pot (4)
• place the food on the grate (8)
• plug the cooker to the mains
•set the controller (2) to “STEAM” position
ROASTING
• put the food in the pot (4). Use a small amount of fat for roasting.
• place the cover (5)
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “ROAST” position
GRILLING
• put the food in the pot (4). Use a small amount of fat for grilling or grill without fat.
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “GRILL” position
DEEP FRYING
• fill the pot (4) with oil. Do not exceed the “MAX” level indicated on the internal wall of the pot (4)
• plug the cooker to the mains
• set the controller (2) to “DEEP FRY” position
• place the cover (5) and wait until the oil reaches the desired temperature – the control light (1) goes off
• put the food in the basket (6) and lower it into the oil
• do not fill the basket (6) above the maximum level indicated on the wall of the basket
• use the basket handle (7) to carry the basket (6)In order to attach the handle, squeeze its clamps together
and slip them in the slots in the basket (fig. 01), then lock them (fig. 02).
• when done, you may hook the basket on the rim of the pot (fig. 03) to help with draining the excess oil.
All the functions of the controller (2) are referential only and they should be adjusted individually. Using the
controller (2), you can change the temperature within the range of 80-240°C. Turn the controller (2) clockwise
to increase the temperature or anti-clockwise to lower the temperature.
