SECURITY
Sure-Track units. You can call the Bureau
at any time to request information on
your units or get an up-to-date position.
Daily checks are carried out during office
hours to monitor the configuration
messages sent to units. If any of these
checks suggest something may be wrong
with the unit, or that it might not be
working, you will be contacted
immediately. Your annual Monitoring fee
is £146.00 plus VAT and covers the
provision of a unique activated SIM card
and all of the above. The 1st years
subscription is covered within the cost of
your new Buccaneer Caravan.
Customer options:
• The approximate* location of your asset
fitted with the tracking unit can be
requested from the Bureau or viewed on-
line. You can request a log-in code and
password from the Bureau
* This gives a guide only with accuracy in
the order of on average 200 - 500
meters, as it is based on the strength of
the GSM signal from the mast with which
the unit is communicating.
This location is updated every 6 hours
automatically. More frequent information is
possible but the battery life of the unit will be
diminished.

Movement Detection is an option.
Please contact the Bureau to discuss
your circumstances so that the best
settings are applied.
To get Movement Detection ON, have
your ST no. and Password to hand, then
call the Bureau and ask for ‘Movement
ON.’
The Sure-track will then send an alarm to
the Bureau if movement is detected.
• When the Bureau receives the Alarm
they will forward it to the first contact that
you defined prior to Installation. Have
your STxxxxxx number and password to
hand.
• To get Movement Detection OFF, call
the Bureau with ST no. and your
password and ask for ‘Movement OFF’.
• Log-in access is a facility not a feature,
so contact the Sure-Track Bureau via
bureau@sure-track.co.uk to get your web
log-in and security details. You will then
be able to view unit historical positions.
Please note the accuracy of positioning is
only as good as the strength of the Mobile
Phone Mast signal and is intended as an aid
to the Finder.
Battery low alarm
• The battery is self-monitoring and when it
becomes low, it will send an alarm to the
Bureau. They will contact you to advise
that the tracking unit will need servicing.
The complete unit will then have to be
returned to Sure-Track for a new battery
and servicing which includes resetting the
internal software.
The unit service and return to you will take
about 7 days, so choose a time when your
asset is well protected. Alternatively contact
Sure-Track who can arrange for an engineer
to visit and swop your tracking unit with a
refurbished unit so that your asset is fully
protected with break in protection. There is a
charge for this service.
Theft of Asset in the UK:
We trust that you never have this problem but
this is what the Sure-Track was specifically
designed to overcome with a 100% managed
recovery - typically:-

IMPORTANT: In the event of a theft, contact
the Sure-Track Bureau and advise them these
details. Any stolen equipment fitted with Sure-
track must be reported to the Bureau.
Then report the crime to the police locally.
Obtain a police reference number and
contacts details of the police station and
officers dealing with the crime.
Sure-Track will co-ordinate the ‘Search and
find theft recovery’ and will manage the
operation and report back accordingly. The
current fee is £500 for the call out which
includes the first 9 hours of work on site.
Check whether your Insurance Company will
cover this.
