Notes on Safety and Warranties
No claims for compensation under warranty shall be accepted unless these notes are followed.
Attention!
- Only specialists may carry out work on the mains power supply.
- The lamp must be installed compliant with the country’s regulations/standards for installations.
- Always disconnect the power before installing!
- The power supply to the lamp must have overcurrent protection as per EN60898-1 (250VAC, 10A) Type C.
- The lamp must not be modified in any way unless with the written consent of the manufacturer.
- A faulty lamp must be disconnected from power.
- The lamp is not suited for use in areas with oil-contaminated air. Poor heat dissipation (convection) will significantly
reduce service life. (Special lamps for use in oil-contaminated ambient air available on request).
- Interior installation is permitted provided there is no risk of overheating.
- Broken protective glass must be replaced immediately. Spare glass may be ordered at your sales outlet.
- The lamp should be mounted to prevent condensate from dripping onto the LED chip.
Cleaning and care:
Allow the lamp to cool down and switch off the relevant circuit breaker before carrying out cleaning and maintenance. Do not immerse
the lamp in water - for reasons of electrical safety. Only use a dry or slightly moist lint-free cloth for cleaning. Clean the lamp at least
once a year. Clean once a month in very dirty or dusty environments.
Positioning / installation:
Install the unit in an environment protected from the weather to ensure operational safety. Maintain a 20 cm distance from ceilings and
1 meter spacing from illuminated objects, for safety. The standard installation height is 2.3 meters but this may also be higher. Never
cover the lamp with fabrics or flammable materials. Do not mount the lamp above sources of heat.
Opening the lamp

The lamp should not be opened.

Should you wish to connect the connection cable directly, please ensure that the cover and cable gland
are screwed on tight. Please note the IP65 protection.
Fastening:
Use suitable screws for fastening the lamp.
Ensure that the lamp is secured using appropriate installation material.
Mains supply:
230V/50Hz mains voltage is required!
Connect the power chord as follows:
Phase (L) brown
Neutral (N) blue
Earth (gn-ge) green-yellow
