Step 2 : Set the claw power
see Claw Settings p. 26

ake sure “Automatic claw” is ON
(1).
Clear the area on the right hand side of the prize box and
place the new product on the bottom of the playfield.
Select “S” to activate the “Learn claw”
-function.
•
the gantry will move to the right hand side.
•
the claw will go down automatically.
•
the claw grabs the product.
•
Don’t touch the claw,
but move the product if
necessary so the claw can pick it up properly.
Automatically the claw will go up and start calculating the
required claw power (= retaining power) to release the
product smoothly.
When the product is released, the calculated value is
stored. The value will be displayed on the video screen (in
our example 28 %).
This value should be minimum 25 %.
If the “Learn Claw”
-process is finished successfully
ACCEPTED
The gantry goes back to home position .
If the “Learn Claw”
-process is finished unsuccessfully
NOT ACCEPTED
Signal and message :
“object not picked up” or “weight too low dropped early”
or “claw not powerful enough object stuck” or “claw too
powerful”.
The claw will automatically repeat the whole process and
will try to learn the product again (max. 5 learn attempts).
Note
: If you can’t find the right setting with the automatic
claw setup, then you can try the Manual Setup (Automatic
claw OFF).
