Connecting the Music Input Wall Plate to the MAC24
The Music Input Wall Plate is an in-wall preamp that
sends the audio from the homeowner’s receiver to the
MAC24. This is a LINE LEVEL input only (Tape Out).
Do Not Connect Speaker Level Audio to the
MAC24IWP as this will damage the unit!

ELAN recommends the use
of a FIXED line level output
(Tape Out, for example)
from the receiver so that
music can be heard in every
room regardless of the
receiver’s volume setting.
