SCRAPPING
Dispose of the EBL Boj 48/20 at a recycling
station according to government or local
regulations.
WARRANTY
El-Björn AB’s products and deliveries are
regulated by Standard Agreement NL09.
Under these provisions, El-Björn AB is
responsible for faults arising within one year
after delivery.
The provisions of NL 09 also apply for
professional parties who register according
to the instructions below, although with the
following modification:
SERVICE
EBL Boj 48/20 normally requires no servicing.
Clean the outside of the unit and replace the
protective bag as necessary.
Always disconnect the power supply
before performing maintenance on
the EBL Boj 48/20.
Replace the lamp head as necessary. Loosen the
screws on the neck of the light fixture, then
unscrew and replace the lamp head and tighten
the screws. For optimal function, always use an
original El-Björn lamp head. El-Björn’s ventilated
protective bag is the best way to protect the light
head or light fitting from dirt.
NOTE! When replacing the lamp head, do not touch
the LED unit since static electricity can damage the
LED and electronics.
Replacement of the LED and electronics must
always be done in an EPA area (ESD-protected
area free of static electricity).
To maintain validity of the warranty, this type
of servicing must be carried out by El-Björn-
authorised staff, or by sending the product to
El-Björn.
El-Björn AB is liable for faults arising within
three years after delivery (only applicable to
products registered on El-Björn’s website.
In other respects, the provisions of NL 09 apply.
To obtain this extended warranty, you must
register within 14 days after purchasing the
products.
INSTALLATION
The EBL Boj 48/20 has a fold-away
multipurpose hook that allows it to be suspended
in various ways. The hook can also be used as a
cable strainer for daisy chain lighting. A cable
strap is available as an optional accessory. It can
be used as a carrying handle or as a flexible
suspension system. El-Björn’s ventilated
protective bag is the best way to protect the
light head or light fitting from dirt.
The EBL Boj 48/20 comes complete with a
1m rubber cable stripped at one end. It can be
linked to the power supply cable with a top
clamp or similar solution. To achieve adequate
general lighting and a well-functioning system,
we recommend the following set-up using the
EBL Boj 48/20.
Cable cross section: Cu 2x2.5 mm²
Length: Max. 90 m/circuit/transformer outlet
(BT348 and BT948).
Voltage in circuit must not be lower than 48V
-10% (43.2 V).

In Sweden, the EBL Boj 48/20 is covered by
El-Kretsen collection and recycling rules.
(Plastic parts are recycled as plastic. Other parts
are recycled as electronic waste.)
