Description
USB
On
Off
You can switch between enabling and disabling of the USB port of
the monitor.
•
"On"
Enables the USB port. If you are using the following functions,
set this function to "On".
- Display of video signals using USB-C
- Daisy chain function
- Docking station function
- USB Power Delivery
- Screen InStyle (monitor control)
•
"Off"
Disables the USB port so that USB peripheral devices cannot
be used.
Note
•
With the power turned on, you can also change the setting to
“On” by pressing the switch on the far left for three seconds
or more when the Setting menu and button guide are not
displayed. (The same operation cannot be used to change the
setting to “Off”.)
Ethernet
On
Off
You can switch between enabling and disabling of the LAN port of
the monitor.
•
"On"
Enables the LAN port and allows network connections.
•
"Off"
Disables the LAN port.
Note
•
Network connections that use the LAN port of the monitor are
enabled for a PC connected to an enabled USB upstream port.
The PC for which network connection is enabled switches
depending on the “KVM” setting and the input signal being
displayed.
•
When "USB" is set to "Off", this cannot be set.
KVM
On
Off
When two PCs are connected to one monitor, you can link the input
signals with the USB ports to use a USB device connected to the
monitor from both PCs by switching between them.
•
"On"
The USB ports are switched automatically when the input
signals switch.
It is also possible to connect USB devices such as a mouse or
keyboard to the monitor and use them from two PCs.
The compatibility of input signals and USB ports is as follows.
HDMI, DisplayPort : USB-B (upstream)
USB-C
: USB-C (upstream)

“Off”
USB-C (upstream) is always enabled regardless of the input
signal.
Note
•
When you want to change settings and there is a storage device
such as USB memory connected to the monitor, change settings
only after you have removed the storage device. In failing to do
so, data may be lost or damaged.
•
USB devices connected to the monitor can be used from a PC
connected to an enabled USB upstream port.
•
Network connections that use the LAN port of the monitor are
enabled for a PC connected to an enabled USB upstream port.
•
When "USB" is set to "Off", this cannot be set.
