2. Characters are blurred. • CheckwhetherthePCisconfiguredtomeetthe
resolutionandverticalscanfrequencyrequirements
ofthemonitor(see
“2-1.CompatibleResolutions”
(page14) ).
• Use“OutlineEnhancer”intheAdjustmentmenuto
adjustit(see “Toenhanceoutlineofimage“Outline
Enhancer””(page20) ).
3. Afterimages appear. • AfterimagesareparticulartoLCDmonitors.Avoid
displayingthesameimageforalongtime.
• Usethescreensaverorpowersavingfunctionto
avoiddisplayingthesameimageforextendedperiods
oftime.
4. Green/red/blue/white dots or defective
dots remain on the screen.
• ThisisduetoLCDpanelcharacteristicsandisnota
failure.
5. Interference patterns or pressure marks
remain on the screen.
• Leavethemonitorwithawhiteorblackscreen.The
symptommaydisappear.
6. Noise appears on the screen. • IntheAdjustmentmenu,set“Overdrive”to“Off”
(see “2-6.ConfiguringMovingImagePerformance
“Overdrive””(page22) ).
• WhenenteringthesignalsofHDCPsystem,the
normalimagesmaynotbedisplayedimmediately.
7. (DisplayPort-1/DisplayPort-2 input)
Display position of the windows changes.
• Whenthepowerisswitchedon,thepositionofthe
windowmaybechanged.Thisproblemcanbesolved
byconnectingtheUSBcabletothemonitorandPC.
• Whenthesignalisswitched,thepositionofthe
windowmaybechanged.Turnon“DisplayPort-1”or
“DisplayPort-2”using“InputSkip”intheAdjustment
menu,andskipthesignalsnottobeused(see
“3-9.
