SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To ensure safety and avoid hazards, you must be familiar with these instructions
before use.
a. The drum may contain dangerous chemicals. Consult the material safety data sheet to
ensure safety. It is the user’s responsibility to have adequate safety and protection measures,
to decide to be responsible for the applicable use of the product, and to assume all relevant
risks.
b. This opener is designed for iron drums only. Do not use it to open any type of fiber drum or
plastic drums.
c. If the edge of the cut on the drum becomes rough, the blade may be worn and should be
replaced with a new one.
d. After opening the end of the drum with the opener, be especially careful not to place your
fingers or hands on the edge of the incision.
INSTRUCTIONS
a. To avoid residual gas leakage, open the end before cutting.
b. Lock the adjusting screw according to the pictures, before you start cutting.
c. First press the fixing seat part against the rim of the drum (fig. 1), then hold the top of the
opener against the rim of the drum (fig. 2) and place the blade inside the rim.
d. Tighten the adjusting screw by turning it clockwise (fig. 3).

e. To start cutting, keeping the adjustment screw tightened, press the handle downwards and
the first cut will be made (fig. 4). To continue cutting, you have to move the bottle opener over
the edge of the bottle, to do this, after the first cut, raise the handle upwards and loosen the
adjusting screw by turning it to the left (fig. 5), so it becomes loose and we can move it for the
next cut.
