Defective accumulators must be disposed in an environmentally
friendly way.
Do not throw accumulators in household trash under any circumstances.
Local disposal requirements are to be regarded.

Maintenance, Service and Malfunctions
Attention
– Danger of electric shocks.
Even after switching off the device with the power switch or disconnect-
ing the battery supply, parts of the UPS can produce high voltage.
Work on accumulators is only to be conducted and monitored by staff
with appropriate knowledge of the required safety rules.
Unauthorised staff are to be kept away from accumulators.
When working on the UPS and the accumulators, the following precau-
tions are to be taken:

Wristwatches, rings and other metal objects are to be removed,
–
Only use tools insulated in accordance with electrotechnical rules.

Wear protective gear (safety glasses, gloves, face mask, etc.),
–
The UPS may not be disassembled.
