5.2.1 Replacing the guide

Replace the fibre guide when its
gap is wider than 2 mm.

The illustrations below help to explain how the
entire guide assembly provided to guide the saw
belt (lever, fixture and fibre guide) can be
disassembled for maintenance purposes. In order
to maintain a tidier picture, disassembly is only
shown for the rail side. The assembly can also be
uninstalled with the rail mounted on the saw.



Open the lids (A) and remove the saw belt
from the guide, see section "Disassembling the
saw belt".

Push the lever down (1)



The guide will move up (2)

Hold the guide at its top point (3)



Lift the lever up and out of the fixture (4)



Remove the lever from the rail (5)

Install the saw belt, see section "Assembling
the saw belt"
You have now uninstalled the fibre guide (6)
and lever (7)

You can now check both parts for wear and
replace worn parts as necessary!
