Network Baud Rate
The parameter which sets the Remote Alphanumeric Display Network
the data transfer rate. Valid entries are: 2400, 4800,
{
9600
}
, 19200.
Network Comm Class (FCC Only)
The parameter which defines the wiring configuration between the
Individual Remote Alphanumeric Displays, and also with the host
system
. Do not confuse this with the network data line wiring
configuration.
No Switch Panel
Used to configure a CMDN or SMDN which have no front panel key
switches, or to totally disable the key switches on CMDN-C and
SMDN-C annunciators.
Number of Addresses (Q) (IRC-3 only)
The number of consecutive addresses used by the panel, starting at the
base panel address. Valid entries are 1 to 4. Each address is the
equivalent of 88 messages.
Number of Displays (FCC only)
The parameter which sets the quantity of CMDN/SMDN panels
installed on the Remote Alphanumeric Display Network. Valid entries
are 1 to 32.
Panel(IRC-3 and FCC)
The IRC-3 or FCC network panel address.
PC Communications Port
The parameter which selects PC serial port #1 or serial port #2 for
downloading from the PC to the Remote Alphanumeric Display
Network CMDNs. Match this parameter to the serial port where the
download cable is connected. Valid entries are

or 2.
A command to send CMDN configuration information to the printer. A
sample report follows. When printed as a file, the report filename is
MESSAGE.TXT.
This file should be renamed if a copy is required for
archive purposes, as MESSAGE
.TXT
is regenerated every time a print
request is made.
Print Hard Copy (or File)
A command to print a hard copy (or generates a file ) of the "selected
display" configuration and its messages. Details of the printed report
may be found elsewhere in this document. The description of the
PRINT command, described above, also applies to the PRINT HARD
COPY (or FILE) command. Use (open) the Messages.txx file in
Configuration Program Files to print a hard copy.
