At the end of May 1944, it was stripped back to natural metal, and the fabric covered areas re-bagged and painted with aluminium dope. The White
empennage and wing leading edges were added. The anti-dazzle panel, the rectangular rear-view mirror and windscreen frame and front canopy frame are
Black. There appear to be no maintenance or warning stencils on this aircraft. The spinner is red. The front part of the cannon barrel fairings left unpainted.
