Appendix A

A.1 Troubleshooting

This information lists the most common troubleshooting questions. Before contacting the dealer, review this material first. This

may help you to solve the problem by yourself and therefore saves your valuable time.

SCENARIO

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

I can not connect to the network

camera

1. Please confirm the IP address setting of the computer you're using. If the camera

and the computer are not in the same subnet, they will not be able to communicate

with each other.

2. Please make sure the IP address you used to connect to the network camera is

correct.

3. If you forget the IP address of the network camera, you will have to reset it to the

factory default value (which is 192.168.2.3) by pressing the 'reset' button on the

camera. You'll need a pen or pin to reach the reset button. Press and hold the reset

button for 5 seconds, then try to connect to the network camera with the IP

address '192.168.2.3' again.

4. Please make sure the network camera is correctly powered (the 'Power' LED

should be on).
