IMPORTANT!!!
In the case of an accidental fi re in the stove, in the fl ue or in the
chimney, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the power supply
- Use a carbon dioxide (CO
2
) extinguisher
- Call the fi re brigade
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUT THE FIRE OUT WITH
WATER!
After the event, have the appliance checked by an authorised
Service Centre and have an authorised technician check the
fl ue.
• The appliance is not designed to be used by people, including
children, with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with
the appliance.
• The principal risks which can be derived from the use of the
stove are associated with incorrect installation, contact with
fi re and hot parts (glass, pipes), the introduction of extraneous
substances, use of non-recommended fuels, or incorrect main-
tenance.
• For correct operation, the installation must be performed
respecting the information included in this document.
• Only use wood logs as fuel.
• Under no circumstances may foreign substances be placed in
the combustion chamber.
NEVER use fl ammable liquids to light the fi re or revive hot
embers.
• The fl ue (the section connecting the smoke output vent of
the stove to the chimney) must not be cleaned with fl ammable
products.
• Do not clean when hot.
• The hearth and hopper parts must only be cleaned when
COLD.
• The glass can be cleaned when COLD with a suitable product
(e.g. GlassKamin Edilkamin) and a cloth.
• Do not place heat-sensitive objects next to the stove.
• Do not lay laundry directly on the stove to dry.
Any clothes horse or similar must be placed at a safe distance
from the stove (danger of fi re).
• During use of the stove, the smoke discharge pipes become
very hot and the door reaches high temperatures (do not touch
them without using the special glove).
• Do not block ventilation into the room where the stove is
installed, and do not block the air intake of the stove.
