3. Check that the air conditioner cabinet is tilted back about 1
⅛” to 1 ½“, which should be about 3-4 degrees downward to
the outside. After proper installation, condensation should
not drain from the overflow drain hole during normal use,
correct slope or otherwise.
Attach Side Curtains to Window Frame
1. Extend the side curtains out against the window frame.
2. Drill holes and drive locking screws:
- Wooden Windows-
Use a 3/32” drill bit to drill four
starter holes through the holes in the side curtains
into window. Screw in four #10 x ¾” screws through
the holes in the side curtains into the window sill.

- Vinyl Windows-
Use a 1/8” drill bit to drill two holes
through the holes in the side curtains into the window
frame. Screw in the #10 x ¾” Flat Screw through the
holes in the side curtains into the window sash. Refer
to figure 1 above.
4. Trim the weather seal with a proper length peel off protective
backing and plug any gaps if needed as shown in Figure 2.
