Error Codes
The air conditioner may display an error code if it is not operating correctly. Below are the list of
error codes and their description.
Error Code Possible Cause
Solution
E5
This is the overcurrent protection.
Disconnect power to the unit, wait 10
minutes, then turn the unit back on. If
the “E5” error continues please contact
customer service.
H8
The water reservoir is full.
Drain and empty the water reservoir. If
the “H8” error continues please contact
customer service.
F1
The ambient temperature sensor has a
malfunction.
Please contact customer service.
F2
The evaporator temperature sensor has
a malfunction.
Please contact customer service.
F0
Refrigerant is leaking or the system is
blocked.
Please contact customer service.
H3
This is the overload protection for the
compressor
If the unit is working in a high-
temperature and high-humidity
environment, power off the unit and start
it after the ambient temperature drops
below 90° F. Also check the evaporator
and condenser to ensure they are not
blocked by any objects. If the unit still
displays the
“H3” or “E8” error code
please contact customer service.
E8
There is an overload malfunction.
F4
The outdoor tube temperature sensor is
open or short-circuited.
