1.1 INTRODUCTION TO MACHINE & MODELS
• Sliding glass back doors, providing easy access for staff to product at any time (VCA-PV-EC models).
• Heated display built with a fl at hot plate made of glass ceramic for displaying, holding and serving
hot dishes.
• Shelf is made of a structure with glass ceramic surface.
• Glass ceramic heating system using hidden silicon resistors attached to the bottom of the plate.
Silicon resistors improve heating performance, ensure temperature uniformity and reduce electrical
consumption.
• High temperature heating system on the shelf and top plate, produced by ceramic infrared elements.
• Integrated halogen lamps are below the shelf and the top of display.
• Operating temperature ranges from 30ºc to 120ºC on the top plate and in the shelf.
• Two (2) separate control panels for temperature of glass ceramic plate, glass ceramic shelf and
turn on/off lights.
• Operating voltage and frequency: 400 V/3N/50-60 Hz
1.2 IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The in-situ installation and start-up of this appliance must be carried out by qualifi ed technical personnel.
The technical parametres inside this manual are subject to change without notifi cation.
The appliance must be only repaired by qualifi ed personnel. Please contact your distributor and do not attempt
to open this appliance.
If the appliance is not going to be used for long periods of time, make sure it is empty, cleaned and disconnected
from the mains electricity supply.
The appliance working temperatures may be affected by the ambient temperature and the location of the
appliance.
Make sure that external sources do not infl uence the appliance that may prejudice its performance (direct
sources of cold or similar).
This appliance is made of stainless sheet steel and there are risks of cutting inherent in its design and to being
made of thin sheet steel. Please take extra special care when handling it and cleaning the same.
The inside of the technical cabinet has intrinsic risks such as electricity, cutting, and burns.
• WARNING: Never place cold food or containers straight from the fridge or freezer on the hot plate, as
the glass may be damaged due to thermal shock.
• Keep to the recommendations made by the food manufacturers.
• CAUTION: The vitro- ceramic glass is very resistant, but it is not unbreakable and can be damaged by
hard or sharp objects that are pressed on the surface with force. In the event of noticing any chipping,
cracks, fracture or other damage to the glass do not use the appliance and contact your distributor
Technical Assistance Service.
• Do not allow children to handle the appliance under any circumstances.
