2.8.2 CHARGER
Your ECOPED comes with an intelligent charger, which automatically
detects and monitors the battery level while charging. Your intelligent
charger is designed for your battery and must not be used with any
other battery. The charger has two cables; an input and an output.
The input is the connector that looks similar to most home appliance
connectors. The input plug must be connected to the wall outlet when
charging and the rectangular output connects to the ECOPED.
CAUTION!
Using a charger or battery that is not certified for use with your ECOPED may result
in personal injury or permanent damage to your bicycle. See your ECOPED dealer
for placement information.
2.8.3 FIRST TIME CHARGE
Your rechargeable battery is one of the key elements of your ECOPED
and must be treated with care. Please follow the outlined procedures
for charging the battery.
