fITTINg yOuR HEATED MATTRESS pAD

make sure that the ECono-hEAt eCare heated mattress pad is the correct size for your mattress. do not use an over sized electric
mattress pad and tuck it in.

place the electric mattress pad directly on the mattress with the label at the top end of the bed facing upward.

Starting at the foot end of the bed fit the electric mattress pad to the mattress with the elastic bands provided. Then secure the top
end. At the top end there might be a small overlap of the electric mattress pad, depending on the length of the mattress. The flexible
elastic bands will ensure that the electric mattress pad fits all mattresses. Ensure that electric mattress pad is flat on the mattress
with no folds or creases.

Carefully fit the bottom sheet over the electric mattress pad, ensuring that the electric mattress pad remains flat.

Ensure that the flexible lead from the control switch is firmly plugged into the socket of the electric mattress pad.

plug the AC/dC adaptor (part no. ZBhWX-A2100276-A ) into the wall socket and switch on. A green lEd light on the adaptor will
indicate that the adaptor is working.

move the slider switch on the controller to the desired heat setting recommended for continuous use: position i – low (±75°f)
or position ii – medium (±85°f). the red lEd light will indicate that the mattress pad is on. position iii (Boost, ±95°f) is not
recommended for continuous use.

SinGlE tAp
BooSt modE (20 minute preheat timer): to preheat the electric mattress pad, set the control slide switch to the
desired setting recommended for continuous use – position i or ii and press the pUShBUtton
onCE
. the green lEd light
will indicate that the electric mattress pad is in boost mode. After 20 minutes the green lEd light will turn off and the control
switch will automatically revert to the pre selected heat setting.
b)
doUBlE tAp
BooSt modE (1 hour auto off timer): to activate the 20 minute boost and 1 hour auto off timer, preset
the control slide switch to the desired setting recommended for continuous use – position i or position ii and press the
pUShBUtton
tWiCE
. The flashing green LED light will flash indicating that the electric mattress pad will preheat (boost)
for 20 minutes and then automatically switch to the pre selected heat setting. the electric mattress pad will remain on for a
further 40 minutes and then automatically switch off. to switch the electric mattress pad on again move the control slide
switch to position o - off and back to the desired heat setting recommended for continuous use:
position i – low or position ii – medium.

AUtomAtiC EnERGy SAVER 10 hoUR SWitCh off: the control switch is designed to automatically switch off after 10 hours
of continuous use. if the electric mattress pad is still required move the control slide switch to position o – off and back to the
desired heat setting recommended for continuous use: position i – low or position ii – medium.

Unplug the AC/dC adaptor from the wall socket when not in use.

wASHINg INSTRucTIONS
Important, before washing detach hand controller(s) from the electric mattress pad and
secure connector flaps to mattress pad using snap fasterners.
hAnd WAShinG:
Soak for 15
minutes in lukewarm water and mild soap. do not scrub. Rinse well.
mAChinE WASh:
place
mattress pad in washing machine. Wash using gentle cycle (85°f). Spin dry.
dRyinG:
tumble
dry for 10 minutes on low setting. then drape over washing line until completely dry.
do not wet the electric control switch.
do not dry clean.
do not wash the mattress pad if any wires have worn through the fabric.
do not use bleach.
do not iron.
do not reconnect the mattress pad until it is completely dry.
do not wring.
